Top 5 - August

Ok, well the Top 5 from August comes a while late, because I was without internet for a while, and Soundcloud revamped some of their stuff and it was super glitchy for a while. Enjoy:

1. I'm In Need - Savoy

I'm In Need (Original Mix) by Savoy
Probably the most massive dubstep song released in a while...and I didn't think Savoy even did dub.  Well I guess they do now, because people are gonna want more of this shit.

2. Raise Your Weapon (Madeon Remix) - Deadmau5 (Electro House)

deadmau5 - Raise Your Weapon (Madeon Remix) by ultrarecords
This remix was released ages ago, but it wasn't until recently that I started diggin Madeon a lot.  Dance-y and fun, great song.

3. Game Time - Zomboy (Dubstep)

Zomboy - Game Time by 1ReySon
Zomboy is a pretty new comer to the game, his "Game Time" EP was huge, absolutely blew up on Beatport, and rightfully so.  Peanut-Butter Jelly Time!

4. How It Looks - Boy Kid Cloud (Dubstep)

Boy Kid Cloud - How It Looks by ScareMusic
Rusko has been a fan of dropping this one.  Sounds sort of like one part Skrillex, one part, "Everyday" Netsky Remix.  Big fan all around.

5. Basscannon (Zomboy Remix) - Flux Pavillion (Dubstep)

Flux Pavilion - Bass Cannon (Zomboy Remix) by 1ReySon
Bass Cannon is a hard song to remix I would guess.  Its so epic already.  Zomboy blew up this month, and this was part of it.  Heard this song dropped in Skrillex sets, Nero sets, everyones sets.  Its like a fidget remix of the womp-tastic Bass Cannon.

::::::::

Honorable mention goes to Pink Lady by Feed Me. The song has been out for a while, but its just so nifty. With a beat slower than typical dubstep and a sound all it's own, Pink Lady has a style all her own.

Mixed Bag

Alesso

Somewhere between trance, and electro-house, the hook on Craig Connelly's "Absolute Electric" is so smooth and pure

What dubstep DJ hasn't dropped this in their set recently?  It's a sort of Skrillex-esque remix, with a tinge of DnB and a bit of fidget.  Keep an eye on Zomboy, something tells me he'll be amassing a similar crowd to Skrillex's in the upcoming year.
Flux Pavilion - Bass Cannon (Zomboy Remix) by 1ReySon

And what electro-house DJ hasn't dropped this remix in their set either?  If you haven't heard it, stop being a loser.
Pressure - Nadia Ali (Alesso Remix) by Dan Shivers

Pretty old remix, but Feed Me's funky, trippy style never disappoints.
10 - Chris Lake feat. Nastala - If You Knew (Feed Me Remix) by Neminoid

Eh, that's all for now.  Will post up some videos recently taken from (the van's warped tour-esque) Identity Festival when I get a minute.

Exam #2

I'm currently sitting in front of the computer, attempting to study for an exam I have tomorrow.  To give me a reason to procrastinate, here's a few songs:

Can't get enough Zedd lately...

Diddy - Dirty Money - Ass On The Floor (Zedd Remix) by Zedd

And since we're on the subject of P. Diddy...
Coming Home (Dirty South Mix) by $UBZER0°

Heard this song a long while back, and wasn't all that impressed, maybe it was the original by DJ Fresh? Either way, I was wrong, and this song is awesome.

DJ Fresh - Louder (Doctor P & Flux Pavilion Remix) by FilthSteps

Something tells me this Soundcloud link is going to be destroyed soon, so listen up while you can chillins.
Feel So Close (Nero Remix) by The Kollection

Some new Wolfgang Gartner finally hittin' the airwaves:
